Meet David

Helping adults 40+ build the strength and physical capability to keep doing what they love.

Hi, I'm David Yingling — founder of Elevate Strength & Mobility.

I'm an Arizona native, one of six brothers, and I grew up playing sports with my family. Being active and training have always been a major part of my life, but I didn't realize how much I would enjoy helping other people become stronger & healthier until I started working with adults later in life.

Today, I'm married, have a dog, and spend my life doing what I love most: helping people become stronger, more capable versions of themselves.

Where It Started

I studied Exercise Science in college and had the opportunity to intern with Arizona State University's athletic programs.

Later, during my clinical experience at a boutique training studio in Fountain Hills, I began working with adults 50+.

That changed everything for me.

I saw firsthand what happens when adults who have started to feel limited by age begin training consistently and intentionally.

People who had become less active began getting stronger.

Movements that once felt difficult became easier.

And things they had started to believe were "just part of getting older" began to change.

That's when I realized this was the work I wanted to do.

Why I Created Elevate

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with people at many different starting points.

I've seen clients go from struggling with basic movement to getting back to activities they love — whether that's golf, pickleball, traveling, playing with their grandchildren, or simply feeling confident in their own body again.

Those experiences shaped the way I think about fitness.

I don't believe getting older should automatically mean getting weaker.

And I don't believe the goal of training should simply be to lift the heaviest weight possible or complete the hardest workout.

The goal is to build the strength, mobility, stability, and physical capability that allow you to live the life you want.

That's why I created Elevate.

What I Believe

Your age shouldn't determine what you're capable of.

Your training should meet you where you are today and help you become stronger from there.

Maybe you haven't exercised consistently in years.

Maybe you've always been active but have noticed certain things becoming more difficult.

Maybe you already train and simply want to become stronger and move better.

Wherever you're starting, there is room to build.

At Elevate, we focus on strengthening the areas that need attention while developing full-body strength through progressive, purposeful training.

The goal is to help you become more capable.

Why I Do This

There is something incredibly rewarding about watching someone realize they are capable of more than they thought.

When someone tells me they can play a full round of golf again, get through a day of pickleball, travel without worrying about their body, pick something up off the floor, or simply feel stronger than they did a year ago, that's why I do this.

I want my clients to keep doing the things that make life enjoyable.

Because getting older should mean gaining experience — not giving up the things you love.

My goal with Elevate is simple:

Help you build strength.
Help you move better.
Help you stay capable & Healthy

And keep you doing the things you love for as long as possible.

My Commitment to You

When you invest in training with me, I take that responsibility seriously.

I'm not interested in selling you workouts just to keep you coming back.

I want you to understand why you're training, what we're working toward, and how you're progressing.

If I tell you we're going to do something, I'm going to do everything I reasonably can to follow through.

That's the standard I hold myself to, and it's the standard I want Elevate to be known for.
